We have three Beaver Colonies, which meet on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evening.

The Birch Colony is run by Dawn assisted by Justine

Uniform consists of Turquoise Crew Neck Sweatshirt, Navy Blue Activity Trouser, all can be purchased from the Local Scout Shop and Group Scarf & Woggle from us.

Activities

Here are some of the activities that our Beavers have participated in:

  • Visits from a vet and the Community Police Officers
  • Visit to the Reigate Caves
  • Cooking Evening
  • Campfire songs
  • Sleepovers
  • Climbing, Outdoor activities

Uniform

Beaver Scouts may wear a turquoise sweatshirt with a Group scarf (often called a necker) and a maroon woggle, or one of another colour which identifies their Lodge or team.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
